The story Of Discovery Jesus Boat

Two brothers, Moshe and Yuval Lufan, discovered this ancient boat,
known as "the Jesus boat".
on the muddy shores of the Sea of Galilee between Ginosar and Migdal
in the winter of 1986.
Moshe and Yuval, second generation fishermen from Kibbutz Ginosar,
grew up on the shores of the Sea of Galilee, enchanted by her magic.
As they were discovering the boat, a double rainbow appeared in the sky,
heralding that this boat had been given to them as a gift – binding them
to the boat, the water, the earth – to everlasting time.
Members of Ginosar, the Antiquities Authority, and many volunteers
took part in the archeological dig which lasted 12 days and nights.
The ancient boat, embraced in a polyurethane protective foam was finally
extracted in one piece – once again floating on the Sea of Galilee,
after 2000 years, on the way to her new home at the Yigal Alon Museum.
The boat, after undergoing a painstaking 10 year preservation process,
with a special liquid wax,
is now on view in a wing of the Ygal Alon Museum at Kibbutz Ginosar,
ISRAEL.
